Last Sunday Oscar-style event Award ceremony took place at Kaulalumpur Malaysia bringing 8 awards to the Newcomer Director Rakeysh Mehra and a best hero award for Hrithic Roshan.
The best Film award was given to Munna Bhai Lage Raho (Carry on Munnabhai).
Hrithik Roshan won the Best Actor award for "Krrish," India's first modern superhero action film, shot mostly in Singapore. The film also won the Best Action and Best Sound Design awards.
